Everywhere We Go, the fanzine, was created by Jacob Graham in early 2016. Working in partnership with Playing Style, EWG teamed up with fellow GAWA to prepare a debut issue ahead of the Euros in France. The first issue featured interviews with Number 1 of the day Michael McGovern, ex-international Grant McCann, and Sky Sports’ Northern Ireland reporter Paul Gilmour.
The second issue in Autumn 2016 saw us reflect on the unbelievable Euros adventure, and interviews with Charlie ‘Big Jim’ Lawson and David Currie, a member of Michael O’Neill’s backroom staff in France and who continues to work as part of Ian Baraclough’s team. We also looked forward to the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers which saw us matched up against Germany, Czech Republic, Norway, Azerbaijan and San Marino.
Spring 2017 brought Issue 3 which featured interviews with Aaron Hughes and Conor McLaughlin, ahead of the qualifiers in Belfast against Norway and in Baku against Azerbaijan.
Our last issue, before the fanzine was put on hold due to work commitments, was Issue 4, in Autumn 2017. We reflected on Stuart Dallas’ last minute winner in Baku and caught up with Ryan McLaughlin.
It has been nearly three years since our last fanzine, and although we have maintained a presence on social media, we are excited to be partnering with Happy Days to resume writing about all things Northern Ireland under the all-encompassing Not Brazil banner. Although the resumption will begin with online content, we look forward to co-editing and selling the magazine at internationals again further down the line – hopefully sooner rather than later.
We have some back issues in stock and we will be adding these to our online shop shortly at a price that basically covers postage and packing.
As always, if you are interested in writing for us, either online or for our printed issues, regardless of previous experience, please get in touch via the website or our social media channels.
